Karen Kulinski is a free-lance writer with experience as a newspaper reporter, editor and humor
columnist. Her work has been featured in two Carus publications. She is a former elementary school teacher. She is an active member of SCBWI, attending many writer's conferences. She is also the curator of a railroad museum, and her passion for trains flavors several of her picture book proposals. She lives with her husband, Alan, in Griffith, Indiana.
